Pachinko: DJD has been insisting for months that I’d enjoy Mei Jin Lee’s book. My ever growing TBR list could accommodate one more book and I scheduled it for April.

The Destination — You have sacrificed everything to get to dizzying heights.

I bid you welcome.

What did you think was going to happen as soon as you got here?

Was the sacrifice worth it? Have you lost your sense of self because the future was always your focus?

Being present is a skill we continuously need to develop. The temptation of acquiring more robs us of the tranquillity that being present brings.

But that is not what they tell us.

They tell us that we need to do this or that by when to be labelled successful.

Did we…

When you have a “to-read” list longer than your height, what do you do?

*

You decide that maybe setting a challenge for yourself will help ginger you to read them all.

You guessed right, I am that lady who had quite the to read list and I decided to schedule them for the first 100 days of 2017.

Obviously, this is no mean feat and I knew I had set myself quite the challenge and decided I could follow through.

Who doesn’t like freebies? I wouldn’t go out of my way to get some but all the same, I enjoy having something that I didn’t pay for. It makes me feel like I’m getting a break and enjoying something I may not have indulged in.

We all know that the fact we got something for free doesn’t mean someone else is not bearing the cost.

To what extent is giving out freebies or handouts damaging to recipients?

Yet others believe that…

We all know that one person who does not listen to their physician who has trained for a minimum of 10 years.

I am not sure I will listen to these ones though.

Rather, that silly person just goes with the flow, ignoring all symptoms and engaging in self imposed ignorance (and borderline foolishness).

I developed a severe allergic reaction on my neck and had no clue what I was reacting to. I conducted in depth research (AKA Google) and still did not have any answers.

In my delusion, I reckoned the reaction will go the same way it came.
